Exhibition stands at Messe Frankfurt
For a Turkish automotive supplier taking a stand to Messe Frankfurt, the first thing to deal with is the size of the place: 10 halls, 366,637 square metres, and a build schedule that changes from hall to hall. We have run this routine in Germany on the stands we built for HANNOVER MESSE, FSB Cologne and bauma, and Frankfurt follows the same path. The stand is produced in our workshop in Beylikdüzü, goes through a trial assembly, clears customs under our name and is met at the hall gate by our own crew. You bring your parts and your team; we walk the stand together the day before opening.
Building in the Messe Frankfurt halls: what we have learned
The technical file goes to the hall management from us, and workshop production does not start before height, rigging and power approval is back. If there is a Frankfurt hall rule we do not know, we do not guess; we ask and get the answer in writing. At German fairs our Aachen office gives local support, so for the correspondence with the hall and during build week you have a contact on the German side.
We show three of our German jobs to companies coming to Frankfurt. The Öz Metal 2023 Hanover exhibition stand is a 36 square metre maxima, a reference for a parts-and-samples industrial stand. The stand we built for Cemer Kent Ekipmanları at FSB Cologne is 105 square metres of timber, heavy product and free dimensions. The Gms 2025 Munich exhibition stand is a 153 square metre maxima, which shows how far a system stand goes on a large plot.

Fairs at this venue
- Automechanika Frankfurt, 8–12 September 2026. Automotive parts and aftermarket; the plan is set by keeping part samples within arm's reach and in good light, and shelf loads for heavy parts are calculated from the start.
- formnext, 17–20 November 2026. Additive manufacturing; if a machine is shown running, the power and any air order go in with the technical file, and the showcase sizes for printed samples are asked for when quoting.

Which stand type
- Maxima system: aluminium grid and printed panels, an orderly wall for sample shelving; one to three days in the hall. Our first suggestion for a first Frankfurt fair on a tight calendar.
- Custom timber build: uninterrupted surfaces, dimensions drawn for your brand, heavy sample fixings; two to five days in the hall.
- Island and corner stands: on a plot with more than one open side we turn the sample wall towards the aisle.
We draw both types for the same plot and show them side by side, so you decide with the pictures in front of you.

Frequently asked
- How do freight and customs to Frankfurt work?
- The stand leaves the workshop as numbered parts; freight, the ATA Carnet and customs are our job. If you want your part samples to travel with the stand, we take the list when quoting and enter it on the same document.
- Can you hang heavy parts on shelves and walls?
- Yes. We ask for the part weights and quantities when quoting and draw the shelving and the back structure to match. During the trial assembly in the workshop the samples are put in place and viewed under light.
- Who follows the Messe Frankfurt hall regulations?
- We do. Height limits, rigging permits and power orders can differ from fair to fair and hall to hall; we submit the technical file to the hall management and do not start production without written approval.
- What should we send for a quote?
- The fair name and dates, your floor area, the number of open sides, the hall plan if you have it and a list of the products you will show. Send it through the quote form; we reply within 48 hours, the first concept is free and the written budget comes in three options.
