Automechanika Frankfurt stand builder

For a parts producer travelling from Turkey to Automechanika Frankfurt the stand has two jobs: to put the product properly in front of German and international buyers, and to leave room for conversations over five days. We produce the stand in our workshop in Beylikdüzü, move it from Istanbul to Frankfurt under an ATA Carnet, build it at Messe Frankfurt with our own crew and dismantle it at the close. Our Aachen office is on site during build week.

What we do for you at Automechanika Frankfurt

We take your floor area and product groups and draw a three-dimensional concept; after approval we send the technical file to the hall management at Messe Frankfurt in German. Across 10 halls and 366,637 square metres, the hall your plot sits in decides the gate slot for the lorry and the build day. Graphics and print are ours.

On a parts stand the product wall is the backbone. We draw a reinforced hanging wall for heavy parts such as wheels, brake discs and exhaust systems, lit shelving for filters and small parts, and floor plinths for batteries and compressors. For workshop equipment running live we open the power request. A meeting table and a closed meeting room are non-negotiable at this fair; distributor conversations do not happen in the aisle.

Stands we have built at this fair

At the Istanbul edition of the same fair we built the 60 square metre maxima stand for Waspo in 2024; a maxima stand of that size usually goes up in the hall in one to three days. Our other work for the sector is on the automotive page. How we work in the country is explained on the exhibition stands in Germany page. For the fair at Tüyap there is our Automechanika Istanbul page.

Which stand type

  • Maxima system: 12–200 square metres, built in 1–3 days; our first suggestion at German fairs because the freight volume is small.
  • Custom timber build: 20–500 square metres, 2–5 days; when the brand needs its own form and uninterrupted surfaces.
  • Island and corner stands: 36–800 square metres, 3–6 days; to spread the product wall over several open sides.

Timeline

This year's fair runs 8–12 September 2026, a week from now, so new stand production for this edition is outside the calendar. For the next edition a comfortable programme starts 8 weeks before the fair with the brief, the three-dimensional concept and the budget; design approval and technical file at 6 weeks, workshop production and print files at 4 weeks, trial assembly and lighting test in the workshop at 1 week, then straight onto the lorry to Frankfurt. Build in the hall during fair week, a walk-through the day before opening, dismantling at the close. Put your floor area and product groups into the quote form; we reply within 48 hours and the first concept is free.

Frequently asked

What should we send for a quote?
The fair name and dates (filled in from this page), your floor area and number of open sides, plus a floor plan and reference images if you have them. The first concept and a written budget frame arrive within a few working days; the concept is free of charge.
Who handles freight and customs?
We do. The stand and your samples travel from Istanbul to Frankfurt under an ATA Carnet; the customs paperwork on both sides is handled by us, and everything returns on the same carnet after the fair.
What is needed for the hall rules at Messe Frankfurt?
Height, suspended loads and fire classification need approval from the hall management; we prepare the technical file and obtain the approval, with our Aachen office supporting us on the German side. Materials are chosen to meet German hall requirements.
Can you hang heavy parts on the wall?
Yes. The hanging wall is reinforced from behind; tell us your heaviest product and how many of them at quote stage and we draw the wall for that load.
Does the build crew speak Turkish?
Build and dismantling are done by our own crew, while our Aachen office handles communication with the hall management in German. We walk the stand together the day before opening.
