Exhibition stands at Dubai World Trade Centre
A Turkish manufacturer taking a stand to Dubai is working to two calendars: the fair's and the shipping. A stand bound for the 17 halls and 105,000 square metres of Dubai World Trade Centre leaves our workshop in Beylikdüzü earlier than one bound for Europe, so design approval and workshop production are brought forward to match. We have built stands in 10 countries, and the routine in Dubai is the same as everywhere else: trial assembly in the workshop, shipping, customs, build in the hall with our own crew, handover walk the day before opening, dismantling at the close.
Building in the Dubai World Trade Centre halls: what we have learned
We do not invent hall rules. Height limits, rigging permits, power orders and floor protection requirements change from fair to fair; we send the technical file to the organiser and the venue and do not start workshop production before written approval is back. Correspondence in English is ours to handle; you arrive in fair week and take delivery of a finished stand.
The Dubai World Trade Centre calendar is weighted towards building products, food machinery and energy, and the stands we have built in Istanbul in those three sectors are a direct reference. The Solinved 2025 Istanbul exhibition stand at SolarEX was a 110 square metre timber build; the Hongfa EV Charge 2025 Istanbul exhibition stand a 28 square metre maxima. On the building side, the Gms 2025 Munich exhibition stand at bauma was a 153 square metre maxima. Fairs at this venue
- Middle East Energy, 1–3 September 2026. Energy and electrical equipment; a hanging layout for panel and cable samples and the power load for live demonstrations are the first step of the plan.
- Gulfood Manufacturing, 3–5 November 2026. Food processing and packaging machinery; power and water orders for a running machine go in with the technical file.
- Big 5 Global, 23–26 November 2026. Building products; for heavy facade panels and large-format tiles we draw a reinforced back structure.

Which stand type
For a stand going to Dubai the first criterion is shipping volume, which is why we draw both types for the same plot and show them side by side:
- Maxima system: aluminium grid and printed panels, low volume, one to three days in the hall; our first suggestion for Dubai.
- Custom timber build: uninterrupted surfaces, dimensions drawn for your brand, heavy sample fixings; more volume, two to five days in the hall.
- Island and corner stands: on a plot with more than one open side we turn the sample wall towards the aisle.

Frequently asked
- How early does shipping to Dubai have to start?
- The 8 week calendar we use for European fairs is tight for Dubai; we count the shipping time back from the fair date and bring design approval and workshop production forward. Freight, the ATA Carnet and customs are our job.
- Who builds the stand, and how long are you in the hall?
- Our own crew travels to Dubai. Because the stand has already been assembled and taken apart once in the workshop, the work in the hall is assembly, lighting and graphics: one to three days for a maxima, two to five for a timber build. After handover we dismantle it as well.
- Can you take heavy products and machinery onto the stand?
- Yes. We ask for the dimensions and weight when quoting and draw the floor and the structure to match. Bringing a machine into the hall depends on the organiser's loading schedule, and we follow that slot.
- What should we send for a quote?
- The fair name and dates, your floor area, the number of open sides, the hall plan if you have it and a list of the products you will show. Send it through the quote form; the first concept is free, the written budget comes in three options and the scope is listed item by item.
