When should a stand for WoodTech Istanbul 2026 be ordered?

Starting by 27 August 2026 for a custom timber stand, or around 24 September 2026 for a maxima system stand, gives a comfortable schedule. For later starts we first tell you what can still be done.

What should we send for a quote?

The fair name and dates (filled in from this page), your floor area and number of open sides, plus a floor plan and reference images if you have them. The first concept and a written budget frame arrive within a few working days; the concept is free of charge.

When does the machine enter the hall, and how does that fit the build?

The entry slot is agreed with the hall management and your haulier. We finish the floor and structure before that slot and complete walls and lighting once the machine is in position.

Can we get dust extraction and compressed air connections?

We open the requests with the hall management. Give us the machine's air demand and extraction port diameter at quote stage and we show the line on the plan.

What floor do you use where chips fall?

A washable floor around the machine and laminate or carpet on the rest of the stand. Floor load is calculated for the machine weight.

Who builds and dismantles the stand?

Our own crew. The stand goes through a trial assembly in the workshop and is built in the hall in one to five days depending on type. We dismantle on the closing evening and plan the machine's exit with you.

WoodTech Istanbul 2026 stand builder

A company bringing a panel saw, an edgebander or a CNC machining centre to WoodTech Istanbul builds its stand together with the machine: the machine goes in first and the stand closes around it. We know that sequence because we are a timber workshop ourselves; our stands are produced in our own workshop in Beylikdüzü. We produce the stand there, build it at Tüyap with our own crew and dismantle it at the close.

What we do for you at WoodTech Istanbul

We take your floor area and machine list and draw a three-dimensional concept. After approval we send the technical file to the hall management at Tüyap Fair and Congress Center and open the requests for power, compressed air and dust extraction. Graphics and print are ours.

A running woodworking machine produces chips and dust, so the extraction connection and a washable floor around the machine are shown on the plan. Visitors are kept away from the cutting axis by a barrier, and demonstration pieces are displayed with their machined face on lit shelving. For tooling and saw blade producers we draw showcases within arm's reach. The meeting table goes away from the noise; where the plot allows, into a closed room.

Stands we have built at this fair

Our largest project on the woodworking machinery side is the 182 square metre maxima stand we built for Emintosun at LIGNA Hanover in 2025. In the same sector we built an 8 square metre timber event stand for Forma Makina at Çırağan Palace in 2025. Both are on the woodworking machinery page; the Hanover fair has its own LIGNA page. Which stand type

Maxima system: 12–200 square metres, built in 1–3 days; for stands that must be completed quickly once the machine is in; the Emintosun stand was this type.
Custom timber build: 20–500 square metres, 2–5 days; on the stand of a company that machines timber, the timber surface is itself part of the product.
Island and corner stands: 36–800 square metres, 3–6 days; to show several machines visible from all sides.

Timeline

The fair runs 22–25 October 2026. The 8-week step of the comfortable programme is behind us; for work starting now, design approval and technical file on 10 September, workshop production and print files on 24 September, trial assembly and lighting test in the workshop on 15 October. Build in the hall during fair week, a walk-through on 21 October, dismantling on the evening of 25 October. If you start later we first tell you what still fits.
