At imm cologne the stand standing next to your furniture has to match the quality of your furniture, because the buyer in Cologne looks at the surface first. For this fair we produce the timber stand in our workshop in Beylikdüzü with uninterrupted lacquered surfaces, move it from Istanbul to Cologne under an ATA Carnet, build it at Koelnmesse with our own crew and dismantle it at the close. Our Aachen office is close to Cologne and on site during build week.
What we do for you at imm cologne
We take your floor area and collection and draw a three-dimensional concept; after approval we send the technical file to the hall management at Koelnmesse in German. Across 11 halls and 284,000 square metres, the hall your plot sits in decides the gate slot we book for the lorry. Graphics and print are ours.
On a furniture stand the product is already the point; the stand's job is not to get in its way. We draw lighting at a colour temperature that keeps fabric and timber true and choose the floor to suit the tone of the collection. A plan that draws visitors in from the aisle to try the seating, a closed room for order conversations and a lockable back area for catalogues are there from the start. For home textiles, hanging rails and sample boards come out of the workshop as well.

Which stand type
- Custom timber build: 20–500 square metres, built in 2–5 days; our first suggestion at this fair; the Doqu Home stand was this type.
- Maxima system: 12–200 square metres, 1–3 days; printed panels with timber details when you want to keep the freight volume small.
- Island and corner stands: on open plots above 36 square metres the collection is visible from all sides.
Timeline
The fair runs 19–22 January 2027. A comfortable programme starts on 24 November 2026 with the brief, concept and budget; design approval and technical file on 8 December, workshop production and print files on 22 December, trial assembly and lighting test in the workshop on 12 January 2027, then straight onto the lorry to Cologne. Build in the hall during fair week, a walk-through on 18 January, dismantling on the evening of 22 January. Because the schedule crosses the year-end holidays we prefer to finish production by mid-December; if you start late we first tell you what still fits. Put your floor area and collection list into the quote form; we reply within 48 hours.

- Yes, in the same lorry and on the same ATA Carnet if you wish. Freight, customs and hall entry in Cologne are handled under our exhibition logistics service, and everything returns on the same carnet after the fair.
- How do you deal with hall rules and height at Koelnmesse?
- Height, suspended loads and fire classification need approval from the hall management; we prepare the technical file and obtain the approval, with our Aachen office supporting us on the German side. Materials are chosen to meet German hall requirements.
- Can you light the stand without shifting the colour of the product?
- We can. The light colour is chosen for the fabric and timber, and we suggest running the lighting test at the workshop trial assembly with your own pieces.
- Who builds the stand, and is the crew Turkish-speaking?
- Our own crew, over 2–5 days. Our Aachen office handles communication with the hall management in German. We walk the stand together the day before opening.
