Machinery and Industry trade fair stands

At a machinery fair the order is the reverse of other sectors. The machine goes in first, the stand follows. Machines are usually brought into the hall before stand build-up, in a separate time window, and the aisle that has to be left clear for a crane or forklift determines the stand’s structure and the limits of any platform. A design that overlooks this order has to be taken apart on build night. Floor loading capacity is the hardest constraint in this sector and it differs from hall to hall. Where a heavy machine sits is not only a visual decision; where the capacity is exceeded, the machine cannot go there. Likewise, machines shown running need safety clearances, barriers and, where required, a transparent screen in the plan. So do drip trays for oil and swarf. On the electrical side, three-phase supply, connection rating and compressed air are declared to the organiser in advance. The total load usually exceeds the standard stand supply and needs an additional application whose deadline falls weeks before the fair. We handle that paperwork. The space left beside the machine is usually less than expected. We size the meeting table, the technical document rack and the storage room accordingly. Production is completed in our Istanbul workshop, the stand is fully assembled and checked before it ships, and our own crew installs.
